Qi Gong

Our Qi Gong program is a practice to create a balance of Life Force Energy in the body. “Qi” means energy and “gong” means work. Combining movement, alignment, and breath, we build awareness and energy inside of the body to further our Spiritual Lives.

Qi Gong has been developed and practiced for thousands of years in China and other Eastern Cultures to:

  • Promote longevity of the body through balancing energies
  • Enhance Mental and Emotional state.
  • Strengthen the body- via muscles, organs, joints, tendons, and ligaments
  • Improve coordination and awareness in the body

Specifically, we practice:

8 Extraordinary Vessels

Taoist Yang in Yin 5 Element 6 Qi Dredging and Purging

5 Element Standing Horse stance

Meet Your Instructor

Ross DeOtte

Instructor DeOtte has been studying Chi Gong since 2016. Originally studying Tai Chi and Chi Gong under Zen Wellness under Grandmaster Jerry Dibble. In 2019, he became certified as a Chi Gong Instructor and in 2020, he earned his blackbelt in Tai Chi. 

In 2023, his hunger to learn Chi Gong from a more Traditional Chinese Medicine viewpoint, led him to finding Jingui Golden Shield Chi Gong out of Austin, TX, where he continues to learn and study. 

In 2025, he composed his first manual: Chi Gong for Spiritual Practitioners. In these courses, he focuses on sharing the knowledge and means for spiritual aspirants to use Chi Gong as a tool for opening and building their energetic presence. He is also the author of Divine Alchemy: An Open Heart
